How Our Painting Process Works, From Estimate to Final Coat

  1. 1

Free on-site estimate. Marcelo visits the property, walks it with you and looks past the paint: loose stucco, rotted fascia boards, cracks that need sealing. The quote covers labor and materials, and it costs you nothing.

  2. 2

Written contract. Surfaces, prep work, paint brand and colors, timeline, responsibilities and payment schedule. If it is in the contract, it happens on site. If something needs to change mid-job, you approve it first.

  3. 3

Preparation. Plastic and paper over floors, windows, plants and everything that will not be painted. Mold and mildew get a chlorine treatment at up to 3,000 PSI, window frames get caulked all the way around, and stucco gets a masonry sealer so the new paint bonds instead of peeling.

  4. 4

Painting. Quality paint applied in the number of coats the surface really needs, in the sheen you choose. Marcelo walks you through how each finish behaves under Florida sun before you decide.

  5. 5

Walkthrough and payment by progress. Payment follows the progress of the work, on the terms written into your contract. The last payment comes after you walk the finished job with us.

Why Homeowners in South Florida Call iPaint USA

Straight answers. If one coat covers, Marcelo says so. If the wall needs stucco repair before paint, he says that too, at the estimate and in writing.

Work that holds up. A recent client hired us after seeing a neighbor's house we painted 12 years ago still looking good.

Insured on both ends: general liability covering your property and workers’ compensation covering the crew.

An OSHA-compliant, drug-free crew, with employee screening as part of the routine.

The owner on site. The person who quoted your job is the person supervising it.

Protection before paint. Floors, plants, windows and walkways get covered before work starts, and that prep is spelled out in the contract.

Frequently Asked Questions About Painting in South Florida

How much does it cost to paint a house in South Florida?
It depends on size, surface condition and how much prep the job needs, so iPaint USA does not quote blind over the phone. Marcelo visits the property, checks for stucco or wood repairs, and hands you a written quote covering labor and materials. The visit is free: request your estimate.
Do you charge for estimates?
No. Estimates are done in person, at no cost and with no obligation, anywhere in the coverage area.
How long does exterior house painting take?
A 1,000 to 2,000 square foot home usually takes 2 to 3 days of dry weather. Two-story homes, heavy landscaping or extra repairs add time, and the timeline goes into the contract before work starts. More detail on exterior painting.
What paint brand do you use?
The crew works with the major professional paint lines, and Marcelo will tell you honestly when a mid-range product does the same job as a premium one. Have a brand you trust? He works with it. Brand, line and colors go into the written contract. Not sure about colors? Start with a color consultation.
How do payments work?
Payment terms are agreed in the written quote before work starts, and there is more than one way to pay. Marcelo goes over the options with you at the estimate.
Do I need to move furniture before interior painting?
The crew covers floors and furniture with plastic and paper as part of every job. Fragile items like chandeliers, crystal and framed pictures should be stored by you, since they are safest in your hands. If you need furniture moved, the crew can do it for an added cost agreed in advance. See what is included in interior painting.
Are you insured?
Yes. iPaint USA carries general liability insurance covering your property and workers' compensation covering the crew, follows OSHA safety standards and keeps a drug-free team.
How do you make paint last in Florida sun and humidity?
Prep decides durability. The surface gets pressure cleaned at up to 3,000 PSI with a chlorine additive to kill mold and mildew, hairline cracks get an elastomeric patch, window frames get caulked all the way around, and stucco gets a masonry sealer before the finish coats. On exteriors, a higher-sheen finish holds its color longer than flat paint, and Marcelo explains the trade-off before you pick.
Do you repair cracks, stucco or drywall before painting?
Yes, and the estimate flags it up front. Hairline cracks get sealed with an elastomeric latex product made for sun and moisture. Bigger damage gets stucco work or drywall repair before any paint goes on.
Which areas do you serve?
Broward County, Palm Beach County, West Palm Beach, Miami, North Miami and North Miami Beach, working from a Broward base up to roughly 100 miles out. Find your city on the service areas page, or text (786) 488-5525 to check your address.
